I knew nothing about data protection regulations, and such, when I began my new job at a privacy tech company.
As a marketer, I kept the GDPR at a dead angle for a long time.
But as I learned, my fascination grew.
This was not “just” about impactful laws with dire fines.
The web was changing, making it harder to continue doing business as usual within digital marketing.
But where was the content about GDPR-safe marketing?
Was it an impossible equation?
Why had no one written a book about this?
So I decided to do it.
